Tampa International Airport named USA TODAY’s best large airport for third year

TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) - Tampa International Airport has been named USA TODAY’s Best Large Airport for the third consecutive year, according to the airport.TPA also repeated as Best Airport for Art and Best Airport for Dining in the publication’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, the airport said.The airport highlighted Cigar City Brewing and Bavaro’s Pizza Napoletana Pastaria in connection with the dining recognition.New hangar opens at SRQ, adding jobs on the SuncoastAirport officials credited TPA’s nonstop destinations, traveler amenities, local dining options and public art collection for the recognition.The latest award adds to other honors cited by the airport. TPA said it ranked No. 1 in customer satisfaction among large airports in the J.D. Power 2026 North America Airport Satisfaction Study.
